Looking to buy an Engine help/advice
 

I have a 02 A4 1.8T Quattro automatic. Engine ceased up back in 09 been in the garage since. Was told by the last mechanic the looked at it that the oil pump broke causing the engine to ceased.

I'm looking to get this car running. Not really sure what year to year engine will work with 02. I've been looking on ebay and CL for engine found some. Just not sure what I should watch for and avoid. Would appreciate it if you guys can suggest a place where I can find an engine for 2k or less other than ebay or CL.
