Need exhaust recommendations!!
Whats up everyone!
I have a 2002 A4 1.8T- I want to add a new exhaust system too, any recommendations on what systems sounds good?? Thx! |
RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
i have a neuspeed exhaust which a lot of people try to say bad thing about but its all stainless steel and it all bolts togther, includes the downpipe, has great gains and sounds awesome! if you are a younger guy and want a slightly louder exhaust, neuspeed is the way to go! great purr at idle, slightly loud from 2-3.5rpm but about 4k rpm it starts screaming! it sounds very euro, not ricey at all, i frequently get compliments on it, as well as the looks!
i heard someone had them for $749 shipped around christmas time on audizine |
RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
magnaflow 14816 with a deleted resonator, it sounds amazing. go onto youtube and search a little, you'll find a lot.

RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
click link in sig. it has videos for exhaust comparisons

RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
if you are going for performance, you will need magnaflow plus a full custom system... otherwise magnaflows will just give u more sound...
i met a friend from audizine here in memphis.. he had magnaflows and you could barely tell at idle (but you could tell.. but it was much tamer than mine when he got on it... |
RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
the link in my sig is cat back straight pipes, custom made, only about $200.

RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
thanks for the info!!

RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
would recomend going to the local exhaust shop near you and ask them to price out a custom job for you. 2.75" all the way back will do you nice. should sound good and cost much less than most systems
|
RE: Need exhaust recommendations!!
the only problem with a custom system is you are going to have to cut it if you ever need to do your clutch or have tranny work! believe me, i know! luckily the neuspeed mid section unbolted quite easily...
