Need help with timing

Hello all my name is Eddie and that owner of a 2003 A4 but I wrecked it about 3 weeks ago and I knocked the timing get off and so I lost my timing well next day go to junkyard spend $500 to get all the parts I need to put it back together and I got everything but it won't start no I put the marks where you're supposed to be even the gears gears in the rear of the engine but don't want to start . So I check for codes and I had one short on the number two cylinder coiled and the power wire busted up when I took it off so I went back to junkyard got one be wired it and now that gone but it threw out another code saying that the ECU had a short in it. And it was just a fuse hand blown can I put a new fuse I go to start it and it feels like it wants to start but it doesn't so I'm wondering if if I timed it on the compression stroke because you don't neithet one of the intake or exaust valves close to be ready to to be activated you think maybe I got to turn my cam gear a full turn to get the timing right I'm not sure please help

Your story is hard to follow. Too many words and mis-spellings for just three sentences, so leave out how long ago you wrecked it, how much the used parts cost, and concentrate on the actual details of what you think is wrong.

Well in the accident the cam gear got busted off. So I got another one after trying to get it timed. So I aligned the all the marks up but it doesn't want to start. .so no what I need to know is it possible to have all the marks are lined up and be on the exaustr stroke ? Where should the lob on the cam be on number 1 cyclinder be.?
