Default New Transmission Instalation.

I have a 2004 a4, with an automatic transmission. I'm thinking about installing a manual one. Any tips/suggestions?

I looked around and couldn't find any 04 models in stick in the nearby new/used dealers. Saw a 2005.5 model but the deal they were giving me wasn't good. Therefor came to a conclusion that i might be better off just finding one and installing it...

It is all possible, but think about these things:
new transmission
new instrument cluster (components)
new interior parts
new ecu
you might have problems in a future selling it

How true, i want to do work to it, but the fact that it is not manual makes it so discouraging.

Da I think u can buy a so-called tip 10 upgrade for your trans that will hold much more power.

Zdarova Zeml'yak! hmm never herd of it, but ill look into it. I think im just gonna get an intake and chill on that. Give it some air flow, and make it sound a little better

Unlike on other cars, intake wont give u much. Maybe 1hp )) or even will decrease it ))
But it would def. make your turbo sound louder.
