No go B6
Car: 2003 A4 1.8t. the car is chipped and have a new bov.
Ok I need some help from you guys now!
Lastnight i took my sisters car to the bar when it was about 5 deg out side. car was parked in the driveway so it was very cold. i turned it on and it started just fine. i let the car idle for about 1 minute before i tried to back out of the drive way. after that i gave it some gas and nothing happened. i even floored it and nothing happened. the rpm's didnt move nor did the car. o ya im in reverse. so i figure it just really cold. so i wait another 5 minutes and try it again. still nothing happened when i would give it gas. so wait another 5 minutes, this is about 11 minutes total waiting time. finaly after 11 minutes it goes up the driveway very slowly, put it in drive and try to go but its very very slow. wait another 5 minutes in the street. then the temp gets off cold and the car starts to act normal. i drive it around for 20 minutes to get all the oils up to opperating temp and then go to the bars. after i got out the same thing was happening although not as bad. is it just really cold out and newer a4's have some wierd program in the ecu or what. this never happened to my b5 and i let it sit outside even when it was below freezing. any ideas whats up?

happened again tonight. the car drive just fine once warmed up. cant pull the codes because im in the mountians and dont have my tools. also cant get under the car to check stuff because of a bad knee. i will do a greater inspection when i get back to denver but just wondering what to do now
I would start off by checking the tranny fluid level like previously mentioned. Are there any auto parts stores around where you are? You can have them pull the codes to see if it is throwing anything, at least until you get home.
i will have to look im in breckenridge, a ski town so who knows what we have here. i parked the car in the garage lastnight and the temp in there is about 55-60 deg so i will see if that helps out any
