Hello Folks.
Okay so here is the low down. 2006 1.8t Cabrio CVT.
70k miles.
Started off with misfiring.
New Coils, Plugs - misfiring stopped
Weird issues at idle - replaced faulty PCV
Oil Pressure Light comes on when driving - (SHOP) Dropped pan cleaned up everything new oil pump and oil tensioner.
Car runs better except that when driving with resetting odometer at about 15 miles in Oil Pressure light comes on beeps three times and goes away.
Some days it doesnt come on at all. No Leaks anywhere.
Any suggestions besides get rid of it as I'm stuck with it for a while.

 

Mine did that.... Pickup tube ended up having a chunk of something in it, was showing low oil pressure at times.. I thought it was a bad sensor because it was so intermittent.... I seized the motor! So dig deep! Good luck

 

mine did that replaced crankcase vent valve doesn't happen anymore also it created the misfires as well and when changed they went away recommend you change the pipes for it as well easy change

 

Update. Sorry late post. My Audi shop guy went thru and flushed it all out and new oil again. All Good now.
