P0010 Code
Hi all,
So awhile ago I had the plug on my cam chain tensioner blow out (the metal plug on the side of the tensioner literally blew out) spraying oil everywhere. Towed the car home. The next day I plugged the hole with a piece of circular metal and some JB Weld just to stop the oil spillage while waiting for my part to come in. Not driving it but starting it every now and then the CEL comes on. After having the new part installed we can't get rid of this code, P0010. It says it's the Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit Open. Did I blow a fuse related to the tensioner or a sensor? Car runs fine otherwise, but due to the CEL I can't get it smoged out here in CARB Cali. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Clay!
