P0234 - Overboost Condition - Help
 

Hi Everyone -

03 A4 1.8T FWD CVT Transmission.

Had an engine overboost condition come up on my diagnostic scan and my turbo has stopped working. I think it happened when I was driving in multitronic and slipped it into Neutral on accident and the RPM's hit redline.

I've checked around and a few possibilities would be the N75 -wastegate ($100) or diverter valve.. Anyone experience this code and have any idea of how much I'm looking at in repairs? Or a DIY if it is the N75 part? Thanks.
