Hi,
I have a 2004 audi a4 and my instrument cluster and other bits and pieces where stolen over the weekend ,i bought a secondhand cluster but the car wont start , i was told that it wont start because the security in the cluster does not match the original if that is the case can i have it programmed by audi so the car will start? as i cant afford to purchase a new unit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Audi should be able to do this for you, why not give them a call? The security is called the immobilizer, and does do things like this to protect theft.

Yes i did ask audi and they said that they can only programme a new instrument cluister.

And how they got my cluster you ask!!!!!
