problems pleaseeeee help.!

So I recently changed my Thermostat, installed 034 silicone lower breather-hose, Spark plugs, and check valves(only left one out cause it look good still).
I now have a CEL. I dont know the code.
Seems that the car doesn't really want to crank over.(it takes 3 times exactly, every time I do it on the 3rd try it cranks over.)when it does crank over it runs really well, switching through all gears, it runs good.
-I tried my fuel rail to see if it sprays out, it does. so its not fuel pump
-tested the battery at auto-zone, they said it was pretty much brand new. 100% charged. alternator should be good because its charging the battery.
When engine is on, it barely idles. by the meaning of that i mean idles from 900 to 950 pretty close to 1000 rpms. i can barely feel it.

Anybody got any suggestions? (besides CEL cause i cant do anything about it till i check what the code is)
help would be appreciated.

EDIT:ohhhh i also tried jump starting the battery, and it started rite away. like normal. i check the battery terimals and they are making good contact.
can it be the starter?

Most of the people say when it does not crank is the engine speed sensor, but until you scan it you can guess on everything.

had a somewhat similar problem last week, ended up costing 350$ including parts/labor. was hard to crank over. i had a cel and it would die at stop lights. i also had the EPC light on. ended up being the crankshift sensor which i think is the same as the engine speed sensor

yeah, it was actually the cam position sensor. i took it out to inspect it before ordering the part, and turns out one of the wires inside the sensor was ripped off. so no contact was being mad. i all did was connect it, reset the engine, and its been clear ever since. starts up great. :D

if you can jump it right away and it starts, then its your battery. the cold cranking amps are wearing out and the battery needs to be replaced. I know you said autozone tested it, but it seems like they just checked the voltage and that's all they did. I had that problem before too, then eventually it wouldn't start at all without a jump. changed batteries and good as new. you can always get a new battery and try it. if it doesn't help, just return it
