Anyone ever heard of someone putting push button start on their B6 and putting it where the "flip-up" cigarette lighter is?

I thought it would be different. Just curious ...

 

i used to have one on my 96 vw gti. but it was a red botton under the blinkers. it was pretty sick looking cause people thought i had n0s lol.

 

thats actually a neat idea. id love that on my a4

 

i wish i knew how to do it. my last car came with it. it looked hot

i think thats from a s2000, its usually what people use.

 

its going to look really dumb on your a4 because we have immobilizer III, you will have to leave the key in the ignition or wire it up behind the dash somewhere

search on audizine, several people have tried to do it

 

so much work for a push button start??? man thats a shame

 

from what i read on other forums its not that difficult. yes you do have to leave a key in the car near the immobilizer receiver to let the car start, something you give up.
