Tried searching the forums to no avail, maybe someone has a post they can refer me to i am simply trying to see what coolant thermostat to get for my 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro.

Is there one thats better than the other i use rockauto.com and they have several opening temperatures.

I run a GT2871R with 550cc injectors with a complete FMIC from Garrett. Which is best for this application?

 

i'd get the coolest IMO.... better for cooling performance, just takes the car longer to warm up..... But if you live somewhere it gets cold you may want to get one closer to stock.... its not going to make the biggest of differences either way

 

hey thank you sorry for the delay i appreciate your response i ended up getting the 87 C one, i live in northeast so figured that would be best. i just didnt know whether or not there was a compatibility thing about it. Thanks again!
