Describe "rough" does it run rough 24/7 on idle or does it come and go? It could be a bad CAT and the check engine just hasn't showed up yet. But there could be many other things that can cause a rough idle.

There are some general maintenance items to check when the car is running "rough"

First, check the MAF. Unplug the connector when the car is off, and start the car. See if it runs better.

Then, I would do plugs and make sure you have the newest coilpacks. They end in "D" and have a shiny top to them

Next comes your primary 02 sensor. This is the main sensor in the Bosch ME.7 system

I don't want to hijack this thread and would like to find the answer as well, but are the coil packs covered under a recall or included in a Technical Service Bulletin?
