Same coil pack after a month
So about a month ago I got the coil pack trot and thanks to reading the forum here got it fixed pretty quickly. I only swapped out the fulty one. Yeasterday, got the stubbling and bumbleing again and as per several people here had gotten a spare, so easy enough, right. I was alittle disheartened when I had gotten through the three old packs, but figure, might as well try the new one and sure enough, it was the problem. So my question is weather there is something causing that cylander, the one closest to the windshield (#4?), to go? The first one actually came out in two pieces as if it had detonated at the center. The second time was a slower process that really took days to develop and kick the CEL on. I read in someone's post to definately change all 4 at the same time due to a variance of output? Is being the pretty new kid stressing this one new pack out?
Are you still running the stock coils or have you upgraded to the R or E versions?
I am actually changing my ignition setup very soon and will be selling my E's. I have 8 of them at this point and all of them work, I put down 630whp with one of the sets.
