Default Traction Control, ABS, and Brake Light On

Here is a photo of what I experienced today.

I've never gotten it before, and the word BRAKE was flashing. I got it on my way to school.

On my way home from school, and I drove about an hour all day total, it never came back on.

Really odd.

alright. any guess is as good as mine.

it has gone away and i have never seen it again (i realize it's only been about a day or so but still for it to be on for 10 minutes then to not see it again was really strange.)

Check your fluid level.

I had the same issue and the cause was a bad abs wheel sensor. You should check for the code because that's how I found that out.

You're right, I think that code will pop out with any OBD II scanner so no need for a VAGcom.

I'm thinking it may be the sensor as well because I got the display on my dash AGAIN today on my way to work.

With that said, four hours later I start my car, and those lights no longer appear, LOL. I'm not sure if I should take action. It's kind of hard for me to bring it to a mechanic or shop during the week because of work and school. Also, it would be hard to explain the problem due to the fact the lights only come on sometimes.
