Shift (linkage) rattle?
 

My 2002 1.8T A4Q has developed a rattle that sounds like it's coming from right under the shift lever when I'm in second gear. The noise sounds like it's coming from the interior, as though the problem would be at the bottom end of the shift lever. Is this known/common?
