Default Speedometer/Radio dash dim - electrical problems?

Today, when driving home from work, my lights on the radio and entire speedometer area were all dim. They were lit just a little bit more than as if I did not even have my lights on. Definitely not as bright as normal.

Not sure what the problem is. Car runs fine. I had my battery replaced about six months ago I'd say...

Any suggestions or possible ideas?

u might have turned the brightness down. the + - on the dash controls the brightness. Also when its dark the lights will tend to dim and brighten with different lighting conditions outside.
