Default Startup Issue

I have an 04 A4 with an APR Stage 1 + and just had the timing belt done by the dealer. Since then I have not been able to access my chipped modes.

When I start the engine there is a squeal just as the engine turns over.

Also, the car sat for 2 1/2 days, and wouldn't start when I turned the key. The engine was moving, however wouldn't start. After about ten minutes I was able to start the car and have not had any issues since.

Where could the noise be coming from? And what do you think the reason my car would start?

Thanks in advance!

About the chip- they probably reflashed your ecu with their newer upgrade
Noise- is it still doing it?

I figure I just need to have my car reflashed by the APR dealer and to get my power back.

The sound is still there and my car took about 10 minutes to start the other day.

I'm not sure if the sound as well as the probelm starting the car were both tied to the install of the new belts.

Trying to figure out what to do? Is it common for new belts to make noise when starting the car? Never seen anything like this, plus the belt sounds pretty loud when the engine is runnig withthe hood open.

I think that it may be the alternator or battery that is starting to go. Will ask the mechanic when I bring my car in to have the ECU reflashed.

We shall see.

Thanks!
