Default Timing Belt replacement

Well after a ton of research I decided to have my timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, cam seals, serpentine belt and valve cover gasket changed. I went to Edge-Motors in West Haverstraw New York 845-269-3846. What a pleasure working with Sergey! This guy knows what he is doing and as advertised changed all of the above components in less than 8 hours. He even dropped me off at the ferry so I could go into NYC (about a 40 minute ride by train) I would highly recommend this shop for any Audi repairs. And for $747.50 out the door how can you go wrong!!!! Thanks for all your help Sergey.

Is your Audi 1.8 or 3.0 ? I've been around the area (North Jersey) looking for a mechanic that can do it for a fair amount instead of the quotes that I constantly (over $2000 and 2 days time of work). I might just beg my friend who is a mechanic to replace it for me, even if I would have to pay him half of the amount that I'm told to pay by other shops.

I'm interested in them too. My 1.8T is at 66k right now. The Apple Repairpal app tells me the timing belt replacements in Brooklyn NY is estimated from 458-698. Yea right. I might not mind driving 3 hours up there if the guy can do it right for $750.
