alright i have a 2002 a4 1.8T and its silver. Any input on how dark i should go wiht tints? thanks

20% all around.

that will look preety good? i dont want it to be so dark i get pulled ovewr but i dont really want people to see me? thoes will do the job?

I have 20% on mine and its dark, you can get pull over anytime but i have a black a4 and looks nice with 20% tint on. In cloudy day you cant see anything inside.. Do 27 or check your state laws to see what % you can have.

my state law says that 35 is the legal limit so i was thinking if i go 20 it should be good. what you think?

I have a silver A6 and a black A4 (2003 3.0 MT6) and both are 35% sides and 15% rear. You can still see inside from the side, but it is a lot more private and the darker rear tint reduces the glare from those damn SUVs that like to tailgate with their lights on.

35% means it allows 35% of the light through -- 20% allows only 20% through -- and 15% allows only 15% through.

5% all the way around

I have 20% all around and my state law is 50%(almost nothing) and I haven't got pulled over yet but have heard of people that have, I'm in Wisconsin by the way.

what rims are those dave? they look nice. U should tint ur tails and piano top your roof. your car would be slick. end thread jack.

The shop told me to go see a eye Doc they knew and for $20 he would give me a letter saying the sun is bad for my eyes. So I went and got the note the Doc said if I get pulled over to give the note to the cop and they have to let me off with no ticket since it is for a Medical condition. Not sure if it will work but if I do get pulled over I will let you know if it works.
