Default Upgrading my B6 halogen headlights to HID headlights - easy or hard?

Ok, so I'm still a little unsure of this project to upgrade from halogen headlights to HID headlights. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, I have to:

1. Buy HID projector e-codes (these are the headlights) like these:
http://www.eurosportdesign.com/pc-13...hts-02-05.aspx
2. Buy an HID kit (H7 it looks like for my car - A4 B6) like this:
http://vvme.com/catalog/list-s-10145-10146.html
3. The e-codes fit exactly into where my halogen headlights are?
4. I have to drill a couple holes in the back of the new e-codes for the HID lights? (this is where I start to get nervous) and the HID box (ballast) goes under the e-code headlight?
5. Does everything plug into my current car plug, or do I have to cut/splice/re-wire?

Is this on target, again to go from Halogen to HID headlights? Thanks for the help.

you do not need the e-codes. Same plan original headlights. Hardest part is mounting the ballasts (still easy).

Actually mounting the ballasts isn't even the hard part..I would say just getting the headlights out is the hardest part of it all.

as far as the site explains you do not need anything to put the bulb in its the same as the halogen ones latch wise all you need to worry about is mounting your ballasts

this mod is simple and pretty straight forward with a descent kit.

www.VVME.com Cheapest full kit, i went 6k on low beams and fogs, haven't had any problems. I have two friends who i have installed this brand for and they dont have problems either. for headlights mount the ballast underneath the headlight support, which is what the headlight sits on. FYI, there will be some drilling into the headlight backing involved to make the extra wires fit through to the new bulb. if you need help, pm me
