The problem you're going to have here is that A) the 2.4 liter V6 seems to be a pretty rare bird, and B) it was never sold in North America (where I suspect the vast majority of the Audi Forums members live). Said another way, your chances of finding someone on this board who happens to have an Owner's Manual for your 2.4 liter Audi A4 are more than a bit low.
With the above said, my son's 1998 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro 5-Speed manual uses 75W-90 GL-4 Gear Oil; which may or may not be what your car needs.
