This may possibly be the stupidest question but what type of suspension does a 2003 Audi a4 have? my friend has a 2003 audi a4 and he said its air suspension because when he goes over speed bumps it makes a "psst" sound. Do these cars have the same type of suspension?

 

No. He's got a problem with the suspension or a puncture in the seat. Air ride doesn't vent over bumps.

 

unfortunately he totalled the car yesturday guy pulled out in front of him and his truck bed went thru his engine. so what type of suspension does my audi a4 have? shocks? air?

 

fronts have a McPherson strut, rears are shocks... no air

 

i think something is going off with my front but its the steering, when its cold and i turn my wheel it makes a noise like a rubber band is tightening up. I topped up the power steering fluid with the audi one but i noticed theres some gooey stuff on the bottom of the engine bay not to sure what it is
