Hi everybody I need help can anybody tell me where is TCU located in 2002 audi A4 1.8T.

 

Is it a Quattro (all wheel drive) or an evil CVT (front wheel drive)

 

I have 2002 audi a4 front wheel drive and I want to do it my self if it's possible.

 

The tcu is mounted in the back of the tranny. When you get under the car you will see where the electrical connection is and then you can see what you need to remove. If you remove it you will need torque to yeild bolts to replace the ones you took out, you will also need 5 or 6 liters of tranny fluid to replace whats in there. Good luck you are going to need it.
