2007 A4Q 6speed Auto Hesitation off the line

When I try to move from a standstill smoothly there appears to be a hesitation, a sluggishness then a surge. I just got the car, certified used 24K miles. Any ideas?

I had this problem. An update of the TCM to version 50 solved this for me....under warranty

Are you sure it's not just the turbo lag? The turbo doesn't really kick in until around 2500-3000 RPMs.
