APR vs. AWE ECU
Just purchased an '08 A4 2.0T (M) and I'm looking into an ECU upgrade and an intake. Most likely going with the Carbonio intake but I am still undecided on the ECU. I have been looking at APR and AWE ECU's, and have a shop down the road that carries and installs APR products. Any help or opinions are much appreciated, thanks.
AWE resells GIAC software. APR lets you purchase multiple programs and switch between them using your cruise control stalk. You'll find most owners of each software are happy with it. Gains are generally similar.
Edit: whoops, it's Revo that has the dongle, not GIAC.

APR or REVO would be my choices. I have used APR for a long time and have loved it. GIAC will throw a code if you add a test pipe or high flow cat. APR and REVO have free tune upgrades to make sure there is no code to be thrown.
