I recently purchased a 2005 A4 Avant with auto dimming mirrors. I have only seen them work once so far. I have tested them by covering the light sensor but only the compass will dim and not the mirrors even if I point a flashlight at the rear facing sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
