Bluetooth
I was hoping someone could share their knowledge on the functionality of Audi’s Bluetooth option.
I currently own a 2008 A4 (B7 model) with the Bluetooth option. Upon entry and exit of the vehicle with my mobile device, the vehicle sounds an extremely loud / obnoxious ‘ding’ sound; alerting the neighborhood that my device is now connected / disconnected from the vehicle. My question is whether I can turn down or turn off the alert the vehicle sounds in that instance? Thanks! |
RE: Bluetooth
i don;t want to sound like a dick but you should really try searching this topic because there's about three threads already for this issue
anyways, the volume wheel on your steering wheel can lower the ding, its just a bit tricky, anytime a sound is going off you can raise or lower that specific noise with the volume wheel, example, if the nav voice is too loud when the nav is giving you directions, roll the volume down and it will lower only the nav volume not the music in the background. the same applies to the bluetooth chime, when it starts to go down roll the wheel down with your thumb to lower the volume as for turning it off completely....i dont know |
