Default Bluetooth module location?

Does anyone know the location of the factory Bluetooth module in the B7, A4? I was told it is under the front passengers seat but I don't see it. Could it be under the carpet or maybe under the car inside the plastic covered area (?). My incoming volume is so low I can hardly hear it and I believe it's the module since the stereo volume is fine and all the volume controls seem to work. Thanks.

I am amazed by the lack of response to my question. At this point 154 have looked at this question and have no idea where it is (?). I have looked all over this forum and have found hundreds and hundreds of needs for help that have gone unanswered. And you advertise this as a site for Audi enthusiasts. I don't think so. I went to answer some of the questions and found that a majority of them date back to years ago. And answers that begin with "I think" should be disallowed. If you don't know, why say anything? And I certainly aren't going to answer a question that the poster likely doesn't even have the car anymore. This site isn't worth my time. Sorry but it's true. One question though, is this the same at all auto forum sites? I don't think so but I really don't need an answer since I'm done with this site. If your reading this I'm sorry I took your time.

Impatient much? These cars are aging (mine is nearly 10 years in service at this point). Many of them are finding their way off the road and the number of people that have them is dwindling. Add to that the small percentage of people who have tried to diagnose problems with their BT module (I don't have BT in my car and many didn't because it was a pricey option back in the mid 2000's), and you have a very few people that are likely to know the answer. Since you have ruled out any sort of helpful suggestions that start with "I think" or "have you tried this," you've limited your responses even further.

There are lots of good people here including an Audi tech or two, so if you can find some patience, maybe you can get some answers. Otherwise, go buy a Bentley shop manual for your car and you'll have all the answers at your fingertips without asking on a free forum full of people who freely offer their time to answer questions when they can.
