can someone tell me the size of my rotors?
 

Hello all,

I need to replace rotors and pads on the back of my 06' A4 2.0T and was wondering if anyone can tell me the size of the rotors all the way around (thinking may replace all 4 with drilled slotted). I've searched but, it seems there are a few diffrent options.

Also, the car is driven by the wifey (very mildly) and I drive fairly often but, it's her daily driver. Should I even bother with the drilled/slotted rotor or just stick to the OEM rotors?

I think I'm going with the Redstuff pads (try to cut down on dust) all the way around too. I got the idea here, so anyone have anything good or bad to say about the pads?

For a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro;

OK so on one site I found the front rotor as 312x25mm (Front)
and on the rear 255x12mm

but on another site it was saying it could be anywhere from 288 to 312 or higher. as seen below on a 2006 Audi A4 2.0t Q;

To convert inches to mm - multiply inches by 25.4
To convert mm to inches - multiply millimeters by 0.0394:D

While it appears as though the last poster had the dimensions right in inches, his math is way off.

Stock Rotor size

* Front - 12.6"/320x30 mm - Ventilated disc / ContiTeves FNRG-60
* Rear - 11.3"/ 288x12 mm - Solid disc / TRW CII-41

Hey...
I used brakeperformance.com and even was able to get free pads (even the front ones with the sensors were free). I ended up with dimpled and slotted...next time I'll probably not get slotted but just dimpled. When I put on the brakes now at high speed there's a little vibration from the slots. Not bad, just would prefer it not be there. Other than that have been very pleased.

What size rotor do I need?
