2006 A4 2.0T

Intermittent appearance of a yellow warning symbol - headlight with rays downwards to left with the upper right circumference of the headlight in the shape of a thickened left arrow.

While driving - associated with warning beep - constant presence on the display - disappears if engine shut off - returns days or weeks later.

Dealer perplexed.

All lights check out OK - car running great!

Any assistance really appreciated.

Looks like headlights... shrug. You have auto headlight levelers on your car?
I will move this to the appropriate model subforum -you should get a response there.

 

It should be in the manual that comes with the car

 

This symbol is definitely not in the Manual

I would think levelers...

John - did you ever find out what it meant? Our 2006 A4 has the same warning symbol coming up - and it is not in the manual!

Audi Canada does not know what it is.

Our dealer does not know.

The Audi Technical Rep for Canada has not been able to find out.

It has not appeared for 6 weeks.

Car & Lites working great.

What's the latest on this problem of yours? Were you able to dig anything up?

I just had the very same problem for the first time earlier today. Exactly as you described - the car runs great, all lights are working. Yet this warning symbol is blinking.

Turning the car off and back on again made it disappear.
