Are the CVT issues on the B7 now sorted?
I have the B6 and crapping myself that the CVT will go. Rather than wait it out and lose 8k for a new CVT, i'm better off selling and adding the 8k towards a newer B7...
But a manual is a lot harder to sell on where I live, so tell me, are the CVT issues a thing of the past on the B7's ?
Thanks in advance.

I had a CVT in my B6 and traded it at 100k with no problems. I am at like 85K on my B7 CVT with no problems.
If you have to have Auto, the Quatro will not come with a CVT only FWD's do. I really don't like the CVT just cause it's wierd. Get the Quatro and Tiptronic or manual and you will like it better anyway.

It feels like when you ride the clutch in a stick at 5k rpm and the car will move but the rpms stay the same. Thats how this tranny feels as it never actually shifts gears, it just melds in to the next gear. Just feels Wierd. My other car is the extreme opposite as it is a DSG auto which pounds into gear faster than any tranny out there. DSG's are sick.
