My engine seized up today, i was driving then the car said low oil pressure. Then the check engine light came on and in the end it gave out. Any idea what it can be, i was thinking maybe my cam chain tensioner gave out.

If my engine is blown, what should i do? should i scrap the car. Im sad while writing this because i truly love by B7. It has to be towed and taken to a mechanic still.

If your engine is blown you won't be able to start it. If it turns over it might be hope for it, just don't mess with it too much so you don't make more damage to it.

 

I would venture to say your oil pump took a hike. If not that then maybe you were very low on oil and then the engine seized. Like said before, will the engine turn over or does the started just not turn it? I agree, if it turns over there might be hope. If not, uh ohhhh.
