ok so i know this might sound crazy but i think that my power driver's seat is self-reclining/falling back. iv noticed that every couple of days the back of the seat is reclined farther back that i normally have it and i have to move it back up. i am the only one that drives my car and if anyone else does drive it, they move the seat back. i am pretty tall and like to lean back a lil bit but this is getting annoying. its most noticeable if i dont drive for a couple days.

has anyone had a problem with this before? is there a chance that the electric motor or worm gear could wear out and allow for some slippage? its an '08 and i dont play with the seat too much lol
is there anything i can do to fix this? can the dealer do anything, possibly under warranty?

 

I have had that happen to me as well. I am also tall 6.2". It is very slight, and not all the time. But when I get in (after a day of sitting in the garage) I usually have to move the back of the seat up an inch or so. Hmm... maybe Audi's have a problem with tall people?

 

anyone else have this problem? any solutions?
