Engine won't start after flat battery
Hi All
I have an A4 B7 Cabrio 3.0 tdi quattro.
I've just performed an oil change and air filter replacement - then overnight I left the ignition on and totally drained the battery. I tried to use a USB booster to start - no luck. I trickle charged the battery overnight and then tried. It cranks and cranks but just no firing at all. I've also tried now with a professional booster pack I borrowed form the garage and no joy.
It feels like there is no fuel getting to the engine or that the immobiliser is blocking me but there are no coil lights on the dash.
Does anything need to be reset because the battery was completely drained?
I have checked all the fuses by the driver door and by the ecu - nothing untoward. Are there any other fuses I need to try?
The engine was working swimmingly before this - not once have I had a problem starting it.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
