Keep in mind it won't cover the timing belt as that would be a wear issue, so you won't be offsetting any of the plan cost against the repair cost. If you have a major breakdown the warrenty could pay for it's self. If your car runs like mine in 10k it would be out of warrenty and you would not have made use of it at all. Depends which way you want to place your bet. Either buy it and hope something breaks so you can get value out os it or don't buy it and hope nothing goes wrong.
