how's everybody doing? I'm looking to purchase an A4 soon and I narrowed it down to these two cars. Please if you can give me some advice based on the postings if they are good deals and if I have room for negotiation. The first car seems to be fully loaded and pretty good price especially for sale by a dealer. Thanks in advance!

For those who have driven both 2.0T and 3.0, what is the power difference? on paper it's just 20hp difference, but the displacement seems like a drastic jump from 2.0 to 3.0...will I notice much of a difference? I'm not a street racer or anything I just need a car to get me from point A to point B...

 

First off there is no 3.0 (that I am aware of anyway). It is either a 2.0T or a 3.2. Some folks like the 3.2 as it is a little smoother and you do not have a turbo. If you are possibly looking to mod the car the 2.0T is usually the better way to go.

Both cars look nice (the black on has stained floor mats). For some reason the black car does not appear to have the stock front bumber. Just looks different to me. Go check them out and see what they look like in person and what type of condition they are in.

I like the looks of the black car.

yeah I like the front bumper on the black, it looks different... Travis on this site has the same bumper, I wonder if it's aftermarket...

are you sure there's no 3.0? I'm looking at edmunds and they seem to have that car listed. There's so many trim levels I get confused sometimes...

That looks like a B6, not a B7 model. Seems pricey for the age. I would stick with the 2.0T. I love mine.

 

B7 vs B6. I would not touch the B6 because it has the older gen body, same mileage and the V6.

I dont know how satisfied you would be with the power on the V6. It will be the slowest for sure but fine for point a - b driving. Most guys who buy the 6 cyl always come back and ask if there is something they can do to add some power but realisticly there is not much to be done to those motors.

 

so the 2.0T is actually faster than the 3.0?

 

Even if it's not, with the addition of a $500 program from APR, it will be. Stay away from the B6. It's dated.

 

learn me on this $500 program... does it just allow you to tune the engine?
