CVT.... and a bargain deal?
sounds like you did okay and didnt rip off the dealership (haha) anyway i love my cvt...time will tell if ocadam is right :-) and if he is well i am covered thank goodness with a lifetime power train warranty...the dealer said if the kevlar belts do wear out they are covered under my warranty. cvt transmission is an old invention..know for gas mileage it helps a guy like me who farts around town.
I Wish i would of known about the CVT problems before i got my car.
I got the dolphin grey sport package 2.0t. The TCM had to be replaced. THis gal at my work had her CVT replaced twice. And i know its not cause she abuses the thing, shes like 50 something. How do you guys think i did on mine. i bought mine pre-owned 32,000 miles, its a 06 FWD, before finacing we agreed on a price of 18,999.

it was warranty forever...a deal at the time the dealership had included in the purchase...the service rep says it is working fine and of course i am worried when i will have to use it.
