I-Phone 5 Bluetooth Audio Streaming via ViseeO AMI MDI MMI
Hi,
First post here so please be patient with me.
I have just purchased a 2007 A4 B7 and am looking to set up Bluetooth audio streaming. I have an I-Pod port pre-installed in the glove box but cannot find a decent 8 pin to 30 pin adapter, hence looking for the Bluetooth option.
I want to purchase the ViseeO WMA100O Tune2air and connect via an AMI MDI MMI in the glove-box.
So, finally my question is do I have these ports in the B7, there are a host of connections but cannot tell what they are and cannot find anything in the manual.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
H

i am have the ipod hookup in the glovebox in my 2008 a4 and have tried a cheaper bluetooth option that did not work. the problem often is that our older cars use older apple technology and charge/power any device thru the firewire connection. the new iphones and bluetooth adapters use the usb connection to charge. i was able to buy a scosch passport (amazon) to power a bluetooth adapter but it still wouldnt play music, not sure if its a digital vs analog signal issue or something else. anyway, what i have been doing for 2+ yrs is use a female 30pin to 3.5mm aux cable (Grom cable, amazon) and i use my android phone in a car dock and it works great. i cant tell you what your radio has but maybe if you called the dealer and asked about the parts and stuff they could direct you. hopefully you can find a way to make the tune2air work for you.
