Default Motor Flush Please Help

Hello,
I have 2006 Audi A4 2.0T. I want to flush my engine. Dealership do not sell any motor/engine flush liquids. They told me to check Auto Zone, Napa, etc. Any recommendations, or did anybody flush their engine before? How did it work out?
Thank you

I guess it depends on exactly what you mean by "flush your engine". Do a search hear on the forums for "seafoam treatment". You are sure to find a bunch of relevant information.

I wouldn't use ANY engine flush product because of the delicate nature of gaskets.
I think you would be asking for leaks if you did.
If you are worried about combustion chamber sludge(carbon),drive your car at 3,000RPM for 5 minutes every once in a while and that should clean it out.
Hope this helps!!

I came across this motor flush:
Gunk® MFD1 - Motor Flush | O'Reilly Auto Parts
So you guys do not recommend using it?

Some folks swear by the seafoam treatment. Others, like Neal above, are of the opinion that the chemicals in the treatments can be "bad" for your gaskets, and other internals.

if you decide to try a treatment product, the key is not to leave it in the crank case for a long period of time. Add, drive, oil change. then do a quick interval (1K miles) oil change after as the treatments tend to "knock gunk loose" that does not come out all at once.

best of luck

Actually it's drive 20 minutes at over 3000rpm to remove the carbon. It's what's recommended on Audi's patent paperwork for the 2.0t. In a manual 4th gear at 60mph or 5th gear at 75mph.
