Default No turbo fun

I have a b7 2007 audi cab 2.0T 80k. For the past three months I have no sense of turbo at all. An independent garage replaced filters and trams fluid and was fanstastic for 6 days then back to broken, garage says cannot find any problem, did vac and boost check all ok. What do I need to do next?

This type of a problem is virtually impossible to diagnose over the internet; my recommendation would be to find a competent mechanic.

Agree, take it to another mechanic or Audi/VW. Can't see how filters and fluid would make it feel great for 6 days (unless you have a trans fuild leak).

If the boost levels are fine and you don't have any CELs, maybe your butt dyno is just out of calibration.

Does that mean the OP might need an butt-ectomy?

I bought a scanner. MAF looks fine, I get 15psi 'estimated' boost... But I can't get a reading from the actual MAP sensor. Bentley manual says there is a group 31 CAP sensor in the inter cooler, but I don't know what SAE code this would be. is the group 31 CAP (charge air pressure) the same as a MAP?

Any ideas?

Other things to note: it burned a quart in 1000 miles, maybe even 500 miles. Fuel economy is terrible - about 15mpg. I sometimes smell gas or exhaust when I stop or slow after moderate or aggressive driving.

I'm new to all this, but it seems to me that the turbo is working and boosting, but that's not resulting in power. My fuel trim is +5
