Has anybody figured out the oils consumption for these cars. I’ve read it’s bad but I literally just got a oil change last week and the light just came back on. Supposedly everything got fixed by Audi on this car and I have papers and receipts but oil is still a problem? Is this a all time thing?

2007 Audi A4 fwd

 

My son just got his 1st car, an Audi A4 2.0t.
We did all the standard maintenance and the oil light came on out of no where.....
We have replaced everything except for the oil pump...…..
The car runs great, and it has oil. 5w-30, should I change the oil to 5w-40?
Is there something Im missing?
