Has anyone run an extension from their 2008 A4 to the shark fin antenna at the rear of the vehicle? I'd love to utilize that antenna versus putting one in the dash. has anyone done this? Do you have pictures? I'd love to use them as guideance. Also, I don't know were the wires terminate, so I wouldn't know where to start.

Sorry. I'm adding an RNS-E navigation unit - and would like to use the factory sharkfin antenna versus putting a GPS antenna in the dash area. I just didn't want to start pulling interior panels not knowing where to look.

 

I'm looking to do the same and have been surfing the net.
