Today, I scheduled a fuel/intake cleaning at a local garage that does the BG Services. I've read a pretty good amount of reviews about the services on the audizine site, and it is all pretty favorable. Local Audi and VW dealers do it as well.

Got my 034 turbo inlet hose in as well as the RS4 sway bar. just have to find time to get it all in.

Been thinking more about the twintake thing. Not so much the system itself, but the plumbing. Would like to get my hands on a used stock airbox and air inlet (the one under the hood conected to grill, whatever the f you call that piece) for the 2.0t if anyone is looking to get rid of one. Going to take it to a friend of mine and see if I can't mock up something "interesting". My goal is to get more air into the stock airbox using the stock "ramair" system in place......

I've built up a nice little egg in my paypal account, but I need at least another $600 ish for what I am looking to do right now. So the cigar sales are ongoing. Also, I restore vintage RC10 parts, any takers? LOL

So I had the BG service done this morning. Can I feel a difference? Who knows. I don't think my but dyno is a very good way to measure improvements, and I refuse to be a fanboi in that regard. So that being said, I'm sure there is less carbon build up than there was. Just trying to get all the little things done first.

Hey, for $129, I'll probably do it once a year.

Today I found the time to put in the 034 turbo inlet hose. Again, I have no idea if the turbo spools quickier or whatever, as far as I am conserned the "butt dyno" is a subjective measurement.

After taking a realy good look at the OEM intake, I've decided there is nothing that can be done to it besides removing the snow filter until it snows (lol).

Ever heard the phrase "money burning a hole in your pocket?" My folks used to say it to me all the time when I was a kid. Whenever I would have a little extra cash, I'd want to spend it right away. Well I'm going to resist.

I have a "newish" plan right now.

RAI Downpipe+HFC
HPFP upgrade
Unitronic Stage 2+HPFP

I'm about 1/3 of the way there saving my pennies (lol). eBay has been good to me this week with my vintage rc sales and I sold some cigar stuff....

Buy my crap!!!!!

Scheduled a Unitronick Stage 1+ with DTM Autowerks in Milford, NH. Going to leave work a little early on Thursday and get flashed. I'm pretty excited for it.

Going to discuss a getting everything I need for Stage 2HPFP with them.

Ok, so the car is now flashed Unitronic stage 1+. I had it done at DTM Autowerks in Milford, NH. Mileage was 70,799 at flash.

Too much traffic on the way home. However initial observations:

1. Shift points are different: even in "D", the tip is taking longer to up shift, or rather; car stays in the lower gear longer.

2. Turbo spools faster/less lag.

So far so good. Tomorrows commute should be fun....

Congrats on your flash. I think that's the best mod by far for our cars. The difference for me was stunning, and I'm only at stage 1 (APR), going "2" soon. So did you ever get your RS4 sway bar in? Lemme know how that feels, I'm really tempted to burn that hole in my pocket.

Sway bar is going in hopefully this weekend.

The Unitronic Stage 1+ made a pretty good difference to the performance of the car. Shift points are different, even in "D" mode. The car just takes off, and now I have to adjust how I drive. Too many surprizes today driving. It was worth the money.

Now I have to start saving my pennies again for the next level. Looking forward to it.
