I currently have an A6 2.8 01 no turbo, and im getting close to the 100k miles

but im thinking that i want to trade to an A4 2.0 T

just got some questions
is it a B5? or B6??
will the turbo make it seem like like if im driving a v6? meaning gas milege? will i waste less

how much more dependeble if they are is from an A6 to A4

by the way im thinking of getting an 06 a4 2.0 hopefully

any answers and more info would be greatly appreaciated

 

B7 or 2005.5-2008 have the 2.0 turbo the B5-B6 have a 1.8t. The turbo 4 will lag a little bit in the low end compared to the 6 but it will definetely feel like it has some ***** when the turbo spools up. If you get a chip I heard it helps with the low end and the gas mileage will be better than the v6 but you have to run premium(not sure if you have to on the v6 models) so depending on your driving habits you should get better gas mileage than your current car.

 

The 2.0T stock has the same power and torque as your 2.8, and better fuel economy. Add a chip and you'll be getting a lot better performance, with a minimal change in fuel economy.

 

Well that sounds good, In my current car i dont have turbo so i dont have to use premium gas but i still do since its getting to the high milage already

i mean i love the A6 and would get it again but its a little more expensive, mainly because of the gas.... im still in school so im trying to save

 

'06 is a good year to get to save, since it comes with Audi Care pre-paid, so they'll do the regular scheduled maintenance for free. I think that's up to 45k miles.

 

deam that sucks...... i had my eye on one that i found a red with black interior, and best part navi with the color screen on the dashboard ( mine faded out and i can barely read off of it) so i dont want to have that problem again.... bad thing is its 43 k miles on it already

i did most of my mechanical issiues on my current car so hopefully i dont have to buy an extended warranty if not ill get it

but do u guys know of any major failures??? or like simple recalls off your head???

i hope that 06 would be a great deal...... thats the only one i found that had the lowed miles on it
