trunk does not "open" with remote
 

I am still learning about things on this car. When I push the trunk button on the key fob, is the trunk lid supposed to actually open or just "pop"? It seems pointless that if I have my hands full, I still need a free hand to lift the lid.

It just "pops" it. Still have to open it. Not many cars have the self opening trunk.
