Two cylinders misfiring
Ok I have a pressing question that is stumping me with my 2006 A4 Avant 2.0. I'm getting a misfire in two separate cylinders, 3 and 4, so the car is running like crap. Mostly it shows up as a misfire in 3, but 4 shows up as well on the diagnostic reader, along with a generic p0300 code. I've swapped the coils and the spark plugs but the problem is staying in those two cylinders, again mostly 3. Do I go through the hassle of taking apart the injectors to see if that's the issue (clog) or do you think it would be something else? Would i get a separate code on a clogged injector? I'm also needing to change a leaking coolant flange if that plays into your ideas.
Thanks.

Could be injectors. You could try swapping your injectors around and see if the problem follows those injectors...that's a method I've done with my truck to test the injectors. I would think the car would throw a CEL but I'm not positive on that.
I may be having a simlar issue. Does your issue happen at all RPM ranges? Mine only occurs below 2000 RPM. I also received the 3 and 4 misfire codes. Also, is your car chipped by any chance? I am just trying to narrow down possiblities.
I forgot to ask...Does the temperature of your engine have an effect on the misfire? I know mine does not misfire when the engine is cold. But the hotter it gets, the worse it gets.
