Walked a Tahoe
 

So last night after class this Tahoe pulled up to me at the light. It was a V8 with one passenger. I did not really notice, but he kind of got on it for about 100 yards, and then the next light changed to red. I was like, OK lets see what the deal is. So I punched it off the line, and so did he. Those are pretty fast trucks for being that heavy. (but they have the v8) Anyways, I walked him, and eventually pulled 2 carlengths ahead when we reached about 40-50.

I was not surprised, IMO I think the 2.0T stock is pretty quick. Now if this was vs a 335i, or a TTor S4, I would never have even tried.

Anyways, I am not a racer, and never race, but just felt like some spirited driving and sharing this story! Cheers

yeah the tt and S4 would smoke him. But the beamer nahhhhhh you wouldnt want to get your nails dirty......jk

My friend has a new 335xi and its the hottest car on the market. Puts up beeter numbers that brand new evo or sti stock. hes chipped (extra 90 horse) with couple other mods and beats 03 zo6s definately faster car in its class on the market. No one can bash that shit. That said y get a 328 when 335 is only about 5K more?

What are you doing in the B7 forum, you dont own a B7? LOL

I chose the 328xi because it is plently fast for me and has plently of power IMO. In addition, I am saving for important things like a house right now. And that extra $5K was not justifiable at this point in time for me.

BTW whose bashing a 335? Certainly no one in this thread

Tahoes are sloooooooooooooooooowwwwww. Do you know the year? The V8 in them is usually the 4.8L, even if it had the 5.3 its only a slight increase of power but both these engines are retarded slow. But good kill I guess??

It was prob a 2006 or so.

HAHA, I love the reactions. Racing is stupid, I never do it. Its just fun to do some spirited driving every now and again. (OK maybe more then every now and again :)) But I dont need to beat a Tahoe to do that. LOL
