I have a 2009 B8 3.2, recently I noticed something really strange. I have searched the forums and nothing like this has occurred.

Here is my problem. I pull up into a gas station to fill up. I shut off the car and hit the door unlock buttom from the driver's door. (In the past, this usually unlocks the fuel door as well) Now the fuel door doesn't unlock.

I would have to physically get out of the car. With the key fob, hit the door unlock button for it to unlock the fuel door.

Please help, it wasn't like this in the past. This just started happening recently...

 

it happened to me the other day, prolly cause it was cold weather but once i got it to open i cleaned the inside

 

Happens to me regularly - but normally does unlock with the key pointed at the car. Twice I have had to unlock manually through the trunk. Things were better when there was a switch in the door.
