First Audi, New Member, Second Post (first one was in the wrong models):
I recently purchased a 2011 A4 with 19K miles from the dealer. After a week of ownership I had the software updated in reference to the TSB for rough shifting on the 8 speed transmission. My most recent focus, despite the continued rough shifting, is a loss of power around 3000 RPM and again at 4000 RPM off the line. When I switch to the tip and stay in 3rd gear, I can reproduce the problem 100% of the time @ 3000 RPMs. The needle stays at ~3000 for a second or two before continue on through the acceleration. This evening I might have noticed a slight stutter, similar to a misfire feeling, but knowing what a bag coil pack or coupler feels like from my old 99 passat, I dont think that's it. Again, it's right @ ~3000RPMs.

Does anyone have any insight into this issue? I am going to order some ross-tech gear but in the mean time I can not pin-point any posts related to this.
